We proudly offer this excellently maintained 55 Oyster 1995 – a robust, comfortable, and seaworthy sailing yacht, perfectly suited for long-distance cruising. In 2023, "Papermoon" sailed across the Atlantic Ocean with the ARC, from Europe to the Caribbean. Before departure, the yacht was thoroughly inspected during a health check by Oyster and fully equipped for ocean voyages. End of August the owner will sail the boat from Vigo (Portugal) to the Netherlands.

Technical maintenance (2025):

• Perkins diesel engine professionally overhauled
• Hurth reversing clutch overhauled
• Replace propeller shaft bearing
• Underwater hull completely stripped of all old antifouling layers
• Not a single bad spot found – hull in excellent condition
• New primer and antifouling professionally applied
• Reliable propulsion and underwater hull in top condition – ready for departure

Teak deck: The original, bonded teak deck is in good condition. It has recently been sanded and fitted with new rubber seals, giving the deck a fresh and well-maintained appearance.
