Omschrijving

The J/122 is one of the most celebrated performance sailing yachts of the past two decades — a versatile 40-foot sprit boat combining a refined deck layout with comfortable live-aboard accommodations, built using superior SCRIMP infusion moulding. Like her famous stablemates the J/109 and J/133, she delivers competitive IRC-friendly performance with a simple and balanced sail plan and high-quality construction. The high-aspect, non-overlapping sailplan (maximum 110% jib) simplifies the deck layout and sail selection. The setback headstay with furler is recessed into the deck to maximise jib luff length while retaining the convenience of cockpit furling. Combined with an asymmetric spinnaker flown from a retractable carbon bowsprit, near-peak performance is easily achieved with minimal crew. The cockpit is ergonomically optimised with a floor-mounted traveller, below-decks mainsheet system, offshore seatbacks and a remote backstay adjuster.
